Copyright Complaint

Better IPTV is a media player. We do not host, stream, distribute, resell, curate, index, promote or advertise any audio-visual content. We do not operate any content delivery network, and we have no contractual, technical or commercial relationship with the providers whose playlists our users choose to load into the app. Users bring their own playlists (M3U/M3U8 URLs or Xtream Codes credentials) from third-party providers, and those streams are delivered directly from those providers to the user's device — they never pass through our servers.
In practice, this means that when an allegedly infringing stream appears inside the Better IPTV app, the party responsible for hosting and transmitting that stream is the upstream provider, not Better IPTV. The fastest and most effective way to have infringing content removed is therefore to contact that provider directly. We are happy to help you identify the right target where we can.
When you should write to us
Please send a complaint to us if any of the following applies:
- The allegedly infringing material is located on the Better IPTV marketing website, blog, or social channels we operate.
- The complaint concerns the Better IPTV app itself — for example, our branding, screenshots, demo content or app-store listing.
- You have been unable to reach the upstream provider and believe our assistance will materially help you resolve the matter.
For complaints about streams delivered by a third-party playlist provider, please contact that provider directly. We will, on request, confirm that a given stream is not hosted by us.
How to file a complaint
Please send a signed written notice to [email protected] (or to our postal address on request) containing the following information:
- Your full legal name, postal address, telephone number and email.
- Your capacity — i.e. whether you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf, and, if the latter, the identity of the rights holder.
- Identification of the copyrighted work(s) you claim have been infringed (for multiple works, a representative list is acceptable).
- Identification of the material that you claim is infringing, in sufficient detail for us to locate it — including the precise URL, in-app location or screenshot.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury (or, where perjury laws do not apply, under your affirmation of truthfulness), that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or qualified electronic signature.
This procedure is offered on a voluntary basis and is designed to be compatible with the requirements of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), Article 16 of the EU Digital Services Act (Regulation (EU) 2022/2065) and, where applicable, Turkish Law No. 5651. It does not constitute a submission to the jurisdiction of any particular country, and it is without prejudice to our position that we are not the hosting provider of the content at issue.
What happens next
- We will acknowledge receipt of a well-formed notice, typically within a few business days.
- Where the material complained of is within our control, we will promptly review it and, if appropriate, remove or disable access to it and notify the user concerned.
- Where the material is delivered by a third-party playlist provider, we will inform you that we cannot remove the content and, where possible, help you identify the appropriate recipient for your complaint.
- We may, in our discretion, take additional measures against accounts that repeatedly load playlists that are the subject of sustained, substantiated complaints.
Counter-notice
If you are a user of the Service and believe that material you supplied was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to [email protected] including your contact information, identification of the material, a statement under penalty of perjury (or affirmation of truthfulness) that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed in error, and, where relevant, your consent to the jurisdiction of the competent court.
Repeat infringers
We maintain a policy of suspending or terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are the subject of repeat, substantiated complaints of infringement.
False claims
Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a copyright complaint may subject you to liability under applicable law, including damages, costs and attorneys' fees. If you are not certain whether material is infringing, please consult a qualified lawyer before sending a notice.
